St John Henry Newman College
St John Henry Newman College is the vision of a group of faithful Catholic families from Brisbane. Independent and co-educational, Newman College offers a faithfully Catholic and Classical education for families across the greater Brisbane area.
With the initial intake of Years Prep to Three in January 2026, our College will become a full P-12 school with separate Primary and Secondary campuses in the subsequent years.
Our primary school is currently under development at the St John Fisher church site on Pozieres Road in Tarragindi. Our plans are for a traditional and beautiful campus that reflects both our identity as a classical school and our own unique Australian heritage. You can read more about our campus development here:

St John Henry Newman College exists to provide a Classical Education that immerses students in the Truth, Beauty and Goodness of God and His world, forming them in wisdom and virtue to become faithful Catholics prepared to contribute to God’s work in the world.

We ask that you intercede for our college, that we may be faithful to its Catholic vision of education as we journey out of shadows into truth, through our commitment to God and learning.
Through your intercession, may the blessing of God come upon our students and families, teachers and staff, founders and benefactors, and upon all who give their time and talents to the flourishing of St John Henry Newman College.
